  • Funding support for STEM activities - The ASME Dayton Section is pleased to announce that funds have been set aside in our annual budget to help sponsor and fund local Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) activities. Funds will be awarded on a quarterly basis and are limited to a maximum of $1,000. To request funding support, please fill out the form below and email a copy to Joseph Miller ( Deadlines for submissions are Feb 1st, May 1st, Aug 1st, and Nov 1st for each associated quarter. Propolsals will be evaluated by the ASME Dayton Section Board and all decissions are final.

  • AK Steel Research Institute Tour - On April 7, 2017 AK Steel celebrated the grand opening of its new world-class Research and Innovation Center In Middletown, Ohio. The event marked the formal opening of the new $36 million, 135,000 square food facility, built on 16-acres near AK Steel's Middletown Works and its West Chester, Ohio corporate headquarters. Join us for a tour of this new facility scheduled for September 13 from 4 to 6 PM, see the flier below for more details. Please not this event is joint with the AIAA Dayton-Cincinnati section and the tour is limited to 30 people.
